Football Apptitude Subscription
Football Apptitude comes in two forms: a free, ad-supported tier, and a paid subscription. Both give you the full statistics and comparison suite. The subscription removes every advert, and it changes how many simulation instances can be run against the same fixture.
On the free tier, the Simulator runs your fixture once outputting a single simulated match showing one way the game might have gone. That's a fair illustration, but a single run can't show you a distribution.
The subscription runs the full Monte Carlo allowing hundreds of simulated matches for the same fixture. This is what turns the Simulator's output into a spread of outcomes rather than a one-off. If you've read how the Simulator works, this is the difference between one sample and the shape of the whole distribution.
Pricing
The subscription is £5.99 a month (adjusted for local currencies) when you take it out directly through us.
You can also subscribe through the App Store or Google Play. There, the price is shown to you at the point of purchase, and Apple or Google handles the billing. What the subscription unlocks is identical whichever route you choose, the only difference is who processes the payment and whether the subscription can be used across multiple devices.
Using Your Subscription Across Devices
How your subscription travels depends on where you bought it.
If you subscribe through Apple or Google: your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not to one handset. It restores automatically on any device signed into that account. If you get a new phone just sign in, and restore the purchase. Because it lives with the store account, though, it stays on that platform, so an App Store subscription is for your Apple devices, and Google Play subscription for your Android ones.
If you subscribe directly through us: We email you an access code. You can enter that code in the app on both iOS and Android, so a single subscription follows you across platforms. Keep the code somewhere safe as it's the key to your subscription.
Data Privacy
However you pay, the payment is handled by the provider (Apple, Google, or Stripe) and never by us. We do not see or store your card details on any route.
If you subscribe through Apple or Google: they process the payment and we receive only the identifiers we need to confirm and manage your subscription. These are a product identifier and a transaction or order reference. We never receive your Apple ID, your Google account, or your payment details.
If you subscribe directly through us: Stripe collects your email address and card details to process the payment. We don't keep either — your email is used once to send you your access code, and nothing more. All we retain from that route is the Stripe reference that lets us manage the subscription.
So whichever way you subscribe, what we actually hold is your access code, your subscription status, and the store or Stripe reference tied to it. No name, no email, no address, no card details… just enough to switch off the adverts and unlock the full Simulator.
Cancellation
Stripe Subscriptions: Cancellation cannot be done via Stripe. If you want to cancel, you will need to email cancel@footballapptitude.com. Please include details for the email address you used to sign up with Stripe if different to the one you email from. Please also include details of your access code.
ApplePay / GooglePay Subscriptions: These will need to be cancelled via the Apple or Google subscription managers on your device. Football Apptituce cannot cancel these from our side.
